Foundation for Dispute Commission (SGC)

The SGC case is a project carried out by order of the Foundation for Dispute Commissions for consumer affairs. In this case the redesign of business processes and the design and implementation of an information system, i.e. a workflow system, have come forward as important factors. In the DEMO-1 Modeling Handbook (Van Reijswoud, Dietz, 1999) a detailed account of the modelling of the SGC case can be found. For this reason the book Rapid Enterprise Design pays particular attention to the relationship between business functions, business processes, information systems and organizational structure, taking the organizational culture into account.
